Blake Smith
President/Owner

Blake Smith President/Owner started Smith Design/Build Corp., Inc in 1990 in Murfreesboro Tennessee. Mr. Smith received his BS Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas and has over 20 years of commercial construction expertise.

Blake is a Member of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, Chairman Economic Development Council, City of Murfreesboro Construction Board of Appeals Board Member, American Society of Civil Engineers- Continuing Education, Leadership of Rutherford Graduate, Design/Build Institute of America, CCIM Real Estate Investment Credits, and Community Board Member at First Tennessee Bank.

Mr. Smith resides in Murfreesboro with wife Melanie and children Spencer and Kayla Smith. Mr. Smith enjoys spending his free time with his family, golfing and traveling to see new architectural designs around the country.

Doug Lawrence
Vice President /Project Manager

Mr. Lawrence has over 25 years of estimating and project management experience. Mr. Lawrence attended University of Maryland and was member of the United State Naval Constructions Battalion One.

From 4,000 sq. ft to 300,000, no project is too big or small for Doug. He's excellent at keeping projects on schedule and within budget not to mention his dedication to customer service and satisfaction.

Mr. Lawrence lives Murfreesboro with his Wife Stephanie. He has 2 daughters and a grandson. He enjoys riding his motorcycle & spending time with family and friends.
